本学会の目的は「子どもの健康と福祉に貢献すること」です。
この目的にかなう行動として，ウクライナの情勢に対して学会として声明を発出致します。

ウクライナへの侵攻に対する声明

2022年2月24日にウクライナが軍事侵攻を受け、街が破壊され一般市民の犠牲が増え続けています。
戦闘により子どもたちの命、健康、安全な生活が奪われ、脅かされていることに、心から遺憾の意を表します。
子どもたちの命と健康を守ることを目的とする本学会は、この軍事侵攻に強く反対いたします。
一日も早く軍事侵攻が停止され、子どもたちの安全が確保されることを強く願います。また、ウクライナの子どもたちには希望を持ち続けてほしいと心より祈ります。
そして、戦禍においても子どもたちの希望をつなぐ活動に従事し、医療やケアを支える医療従事者、看護職の皆様に心から敬意を表します。

Statement on the Invasion of Ukraine

The February 24, 2022 military invasion of Ukraine continues to destroy cities and increase civilian casualties.
We sincerely regret that the lives, health, and safety of children are being taken from them and threatened by this fighting.
The Japanese Society of Child Health Nursing, whose purpose is to protect the lives and health of children, strongly opposes this military invasion.
We fervently hope that the military invasion will be stopped as soon as possible to ensure the safety of children. And, we sincerely hope that the children of Ukraine will be able to keep hope alive even during this terrible tragedy.
We also express our deepest respect to all the medical and nursing professionals who are working to provide care to those afflicted and to protect the lives of children in the midst of the ravages of war.
